Pam Glew is responsible for all theses portraits. The British artist who decided to focus her art around the flags. For her works she uses dyes, stitch technique and worm, old materials. Over the years, she mastered the art of deconstruction. She sews, links and completes them.

 

For her last series called „Beautiful and Damned Series” she used historic fabric. Thanks to them Glew has created a pleasent atmosphere of cinematography of ’20 and ’30.

Cinematography is one the favourite themes of Plam Glew. The starting point of her works are ready shots and scenes. And she presents mostly women. The are very few exceptions which have created the image of man.

She has repeatably presented her flags in different settings. From the traditional to the urban. The she has been visible next to the artists such Banksy and Damien Hirst.
